On October 29, the opening ceremony of Crylink Optoelectronics Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. was held in the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking the official completion and opening of Crylink’s production base for high-end laser crystal materials and devices, with the first production line already laid out. This is an important milestone in Crylink’s efforts to deepen its industrial layout and improve its manufacturing system, and it also injects new vitality into the development of the optoelectronics industry in the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone. Relevant officials from Shanghai and the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone, as well as industry experts, customers, business partners, suppliers, financial institutions, and investment institutions, gathered to witness this important moment in Crylink’s development.
Crylink Optoelectronics Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. is an important production base established by Shanghai Crylink Technology Co., Ltd. as part of its development in the high-end optoelectronics industry. In 2026, the project was established in the Hohhot Economic and Technological Development Zone. With strong support and targeted services from the development zone, the company rapidly advanced the construction of its production base and completed the layout of its first production line, initially establishing an industrial system covering laser crystal material preparation, precision optical processing, optical coating, and device packaging. The completion of the production base will further improve Crylink’s full-chain layout, from technological research and development to industrial manufacturing, and lay a solid foundation for the independent innovation and industrialization of high-end laser crystal materials and devices.
Shanghai Crylink Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2023 and is headquartered in Shanghai. It was jointly funded by the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center, a state-owned capital platform in Baoshan District, Shanghai, and the team led by Dr. Dong Yongjun. It is one of the first key projects supported by the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center’s “grant-investment combination” policy and Baoshan District of Shanghai’s “investment first, equity later” policy. Relying on a core technical team with a Chinese Academy of Sciences research background, the company brings together more than two decades of experience in crystal material research, development, and industrialization. It has developed full-process technical capabilities covering crystal growth, precision processing, optical coating, material bonding, and device packaging, and has accumulated solid technical expertise in high-performance laser crystal materials, optoelectronic devices, and optoelectronic modules.
Building on continuous technological innovation and industrialization experience, Crylink has established a multi-level product system based on crystal materials, centered on optoelectronic devices, and extending to optoelectronic modules. Its products include laser crystals, nonlinear crystals, bonded crystals, optoelectronic devices, and optoelectronic modules, which are widely used in semiconductors, quantum technology, optical communications, industrial lasers, medical aesthetics, LiDAR, precision measurement, and scientific research. The company is committed to providing high-performance optoelectronic products and customized solutions for customers at home and abroad.
The completion of the Inner Mongolia production base is an important measure in Crylink’s implementation of its development strategy of one headquarters and one production base.
